Congrats to my Diaryland compadre (compadra?), Orange Ultra, who got herself a terrific new job.

Oh, all my yammering yesterday about music mags--I wasn't 100% serious. I understand that the people who succeed in music are the ones who really push, and I haven't really pushed. I am happy just to be able to write songs and record occasionally.

I would love to have some acclaim. But I don't blame anyone else for my lack of it. If I devoted more time and energy to promoting my records and gigs, I'm sure I could be more successful. Blah blah blah.
