I've got a sore throat/cold and I am home looking for work. That's the kind of day it is.

Today I found some songbooks in the garbage: Cat Stevens and one called "folk rock retrospective".

I am listening to a Leonard Cohen album in hopes of discovering a song to sing for Freddy's annual "Leonard Cohen Christmas." Alas, I don't think I can do this with a good conscience, as he's only written a handful of songs that I like. And this album I'm listening to right now is pretty awful.
