The wedding was just right--a quietly moving ceremony followed by a good meal with just the right blend of people, and then some spirited Cajun music. Orleana and JoyBoy reprised "The Hungry Wolf" for the occasion. The bride wore a lovely red satin qipao and gold dance pumps. Everything was simple, tasteful, low-key.

Afterwards, the Monkster and I went to the Angelika to see a movie but nothing good was playing so we went home and watched the rest of The Deer Hunter, which I'm still getting over. "One shot." Whew.
